Early ovulation? Do you agree??

Here's a pic of my chart. According to FF, I ovulated on cd12 but last month I ovulated on cd17 and the month before it was cd15. Could I have ovulated this early? Does it matter if I have? What do you all think of my chart? Thanks.

I’d want to see temps after a few more days. Because you missed a few days, I don’t think the pattern is clear... also you’ve got a ‘fallback rise’ which is notoriously difficult to judge without opks...

Thank you. I know missed temps are a pain but I just lose interest in temping at the end and start of my cycle because I don't think I'll be ovulating any time soon 😂

@physicskate What is a fallback rise anyway? I'm wondering if I actually ovulated on day 14.

It means a step ladder shape in your temps. I’d be tempted for cd 14 but there isn’t enough info... wait another three days and if they carry on going up, or stay where they are, I’d say cd 14.

Found this, which has been really helpful. It says it could be a fallback rise or it could just be a fluke high temp, followed by actual ovulation. If this was the case for me, it would mean I ovulated on cd14 rather than cd12. Either way, I guess I'm either 4dpo or 2dpo today!

Your chart looks very similar to mine before I medicated my thyroid. Have you had yours tested? I’d also say wait a few more days because CD14 looks more promising. X

BandhaAid · 19/11/2017 14:24

@MouseLove Yep, I have overactive thyroid, am on meds and my levels are nearly back in normal range :-)

How long have you been medicating And how long have you been at a normal level? It might be that you won’t get clear temping if it’s very recently. I am slightly hyperthyroid.

BandhaAid · 19/11/2017 16:47

I've been on medication since May 2016 and my TSH has been 0.2 (normal should be 0.0) for a couple of months. As you can see, I had EWCM for a few days, as I do every month, so I use that to gauge when I'm ovulating.

Sorry, TSH should be 0.4 to 4.0. I was thinking it was the other way around. Mine is currently 0.2 and my consultant was pleased with that when I saw him two weeks ago.

My pre ov temps and my post ov temps are in the normal ranges so I'm not too concerned.
