Why am I bleeding? :(

I am on CD9 after a weird period where I started spotting on 6th Nov, got my full blown period on 8th Nov and bled until 13th. Then my period seemed to stop but I still seem to have quite a lot of blood -tinged mucus today, ten days after I first started spotting! Obviously my fertile window should be coming up soon and I don't want anything to get in the way. Do you think this kind of bleeding is something I should worry about? I normally have pretty regular periods, although last month I had a random 41 day cycle but this month went back to my usual 29 days. Any advice appreciated!

I really don't want to get your hopes up but If this is completely unheard of for you I would be tempted to do a pregnancy test.

What you have written sounds almost exactly the same as what happened to me with DD. When I went for a scan I was 4 weeks ahead of where I thought I was and it turned out my 'weird period' the month before my BFP had actually been some sort of massive implantation bleed.

Thanks pasta- I really think this is unlikely as my period was really really heavy :( can L ask though, when it happened to you, how heavy was the bleeding?

It was pretty heavy. Heavy enough for me to be certain it was a period anyway and I have pretty heavy periods. The difference was it was slightly late, a slightly different texture to begin with and was slightly shorter than usual (5 days rather than 8) I also so had quite a bit of spotting.

The other possible options are you have had a very early miscarriage (very common) or if you have been trying to conceive and therefore DTD quite a lot you could be slightly irritated up there which could be causing the spotting?

Not sure about the miscarriage, although I have already had two this year :( and as for the sex, we are not really DTD enough for it to be irritated and we haven't DTD since 4th Nov so it can't be that! I am just a bit worried that something is wrong :(

I get a glob of Brown cm around 3/4 days after my AF. It usually kick starts my ewcm at around CD10. I would say it sounds normal to me. Probably your body just getting rid of the last of your lining.
