Is this BFP?

Long time lurker but first time posting. We’ve been ttc for 11 months. AF due tomorrow I did a cheap test this morning which had a faint line. Ran out and got a digital said not pregnant. DH also ran out and got a clear blue which I did when I got home this evening. Please tell me I’m not seeing things?

You're not seeing things OP - as I can see it too! Sounds as if you're in very early stages of pregnancy and your HCG levels aren't high enough to be detected on digital tests (which are usually less sensitive, I had to wait a week).

It takes a fair bit of HCG to get the digis to throw up a positive, but your levels will double overthe next 48 hours, so you should get your positive very soon.

@Albuspotterdumbledore you got any more tests? Test again tomorrow morning with FMU that will confirm it! Lol and obviously, post on here so we can see 😁😁

Funny you should ask user - I’ve just sent DH to Asda and he’s come back with two more clear blue. One for the morning and one for the fun of it I think

@Albuspotterdumbledore hahaha I’ve been there!!!! I took 5 after my first BFP just to make sure! Puts your mind at rest and it’s nice.

These were my first 2, before I took 2 digitals 2 days later to confirm it 😂 DS is 10 Months now!

I spent the first 10-12 weeks feeling exactly like I was about to get my period. Ĺiterally, the strongest feeling and even though I read that this was completely normal I couldn't believe anyone else had actually felt QUITE as pre periody as I was! Totally normal.

Hi all, so I got AF on Saturday morning. Heavy and cramps as always but it’s stopping now and I’m still getting positive pregnancy tests. I’ve attached one I’ve just done now. Was this a chemical pregnancy?

I have got a doctors appointment this pm but just looking for some experience before I go in.

You need a scan to check what’s going on. Bleeding can mean nothing at all, or it can indicate a failing pregnancy or an ectopic. Ask your GP for a referral. Fingers crossed all is well.

Thanks polly. Trying not to get my hopes up as I think I’ve definitely had a chemical pregnancy. Just annoying still seeing the positive and was hoping for some experience.

Gem I got my BFP the day before AF was due to arrive so about 14dpo. It got stronger over the next two days and then the bleeding started. Just waiting for the doctor to provide some insight. Has anyone had a BFP after bleeding quite heavily?

No I haven’t had a bleed after a bfp but then again I’m only on cycle two, I’m trying to learn all this stuff out now for future reference. Hope everything works out for you x
