Can you look at these tests for me?

I got my bfp at 10dpo. I took tests on 11 and 12 dpo but they don’t seem to be darkening.

I took another one today, a clear blue, and the line is so faint. I took a digital that said “not pregnant”.

I am panicking. I had a miscarriage earlier in the year and I am scared it is happening again.

I dunno why it won’t let me post the pics like everyone else :(

Congratulations that’s a positive. Digitals are not as sensitive. A line is a line. No need to keep testing now. X

TheCatsPaws · 06/11/2017 11:07

Do you think it means something that my lines aren’t getting darker?

Nope. A line is a line. The darkness doesn’t indicate anything really and you can either go darker or stay the same. The same outcome is that you’re pregnant. I would stop worrying and start enjoying. And this comes from someone who’s had a mmc and has been TTC for 14 months. You’re pregnant until someone tells you otherwise or you have a baby in your arms. Take a deep breath. And congratulations. X

Thank you. I’m sorry about your miscarriage. It’s really horrible. Thank you for such an understanding reply, I am tearful today and it reassure me :)

Stop testing! You're pregnant and there's no need to torture yourself. Hopefully all will be fine this time but checking tests is not going to tell you anything important. Congratulations!

TheCatsPaws · 06/11/2017 13:02

Thank you. I will stop. I am just very very scared of it happening again

Hi

I'm a compulsive tester so totally understand the need to see lines darken. It can definitely cause unnecessary stress though.

How many DPO were you today when you tested? Did you use FMU or could the urine have been diluted?

TheCatsPaws · 06/11/2017 13:15

13dpo. Was fmu but my fmu is always rubbish because I pee about 3 times a night.

It's still quite early then! I know people say stop testing but I would wait until maybe 15dpo and do another digital. Hopefully by then it'll be positive.

Good luck

MouseLove · 06/11/2017 13:32

Oh Hun, I know it’s stressful but take the positive test as a comforting thing. The digitals are so pants honestly. I was 10 weeks when I had a mmc and I don’t think I ever got a 3+ on those damn things despite my baby getting that far. Congratulations, sending warm good vibes, hugs and smiles!! X

TheCatsPaws · 06/11/2017 13:41

I never got the 3 with either of my previous pregnancies, my miscarriage or my son. Don’t know why I took one.

If anyone is reading this because they’re in the same situation, I’ll update. I started bleeding and getting bfn today.

Really sorry to hear that cats I have had a chemical pregnancy before and it is so disappointing. I absolutely refuse to let myself test now until after my period would have been due. Hasn’t happened yet so I just haven’t tested.

TheCatsPaws · 07/11/2017 23:36

Thanks. Sorry you also went through this, it’s horrible. DP is very upset and I don’t know how to help him.
