Mid month bleeding and thin womb lining

I've been suffering from mid-month bleed for over a year - tends to be black/brown, like old blood and is accompanied by period-type symptoms. Qiute recently had laparoscopy to remove endo with diathermy but had a 'show' through IUI drugs last cycle. Ovulation is definitley happening but seems to be a problem with implantation and womb lining. Any ideas? Posting this on a friend's for now.

I reckon this is one for Atilla.....

Was all the endo lasered out through diathermy?. How much info were you given on the follow up appointment post operation?.

How do you know that ovulation is definately happening, are blood tests and internal ultrasounds being done regularly to check hormone levels and measurement of endometrical lining respectively?.

Sorry for all the questions but have had very similar probs so would like to assist if I can.

BTW Endometriosis UK has a very good website on endometriosis - its www.endo.org.uk. They also have a very good message board too.

Thanks for chatting - on my friend's again as my computer's sulking.
They said that they had treated all endo visible and most of it was on ovaries and perit. wall. The follow-up appointment was pretty crap really. I had a horrible month post-op but was better the month after due to acupuncture (I think). Consultant wasn't helpful and said that the mid-month might be just something I had to put up with.
I've had a second opinion in London since then and he thinks that my womb lining might be the problem and wants to take another biopsy of womb lining. Just so fed up of being prodded...
Any advice?
Could just take strong antibiotics maybe to kill any poss infection/ inflammation??
