I'm in the 2ww again, and hoping this might be the one. I ordered some preseed, but it didn't arrive until right at the end of my fertile window, so only used it a couple of times but hoping it'll help!

Anyone care to join me with the madness, impatience and symptom spotting?

@LittleBirdBlues need to keep yourself busier then haha! If I was you I'd so have to test tomorrow morning.

I know I'm gonna find it hard to resist buying a test tomorrow when I go into town, haven't got any of the symptoms I did last time with DS but I have a feeling (or just wishful thinking!)

DinoMania · 12/11/2017 20:12

Hi @nk1605
hopefully you have just been testing too early 🤞

nk1605 · 12/11/2017 20:37

Thanks @dinomania I hope so too!

LittleBirdBlues · 12/11/2017 20:40

@nk1605 definitely too early! Grin

Picklesandpies · 12/11/2017 21:10

Think I should be testing on Tuesday if I’m being rational I’m not, I tested today at 7dpo. Lots of luck to anyone testing tomorrow!

nk1605 · 12/11/2017 21:53

How many DPOs does everyone generally start testing? It's hard to know when I should as I have no idea how long my cycles are (didn't have a period prior to this one for a year and they have always been irregular) and I am only guessing I OV'd on CD18 or 19 (positive OPK on CD18 and a negative on CD19). Cannot bear this wait (or wasting further £££ on tests!)

DinoMania · 12/11/2017 22:26

@nk1605 I always think I'm going to wait 2 weeks but end up only waiting 10 and then doing a test a day till AF turns up.

nk1605 · 12/11/2017 22:54

@dinomania I think I'm going to have to sneakily buy some cheapies...I don't think I can last to Thursday!

Picklesandpies · 13/11/2017 12:38

Well amazon just delivered some frer and of course I tested. And of course it was BFN. I am technically 6 days before period due so it could possibly detect it but holding it hope it’s too early.

hannknitted · 13/11/2017 12:54

Hello,

Hope you don't mind me joining. Smile

This is my first cycle of properly TTC - tracked my cycle using Fertility Friend and OPKs, husband and I had sex every other day from the end of my last period, and then four days in a row around the time of my positive OPK.

I'm now 7 DPO and trying not to think about it too much until my period is due next week (around the 23rd)... Considering it's our first cycle of trying, I'm surprised at how hard it is to keep it off my mind!

I'm determined not to test before my period is due - just keep repeating to myself that it's not going to achieve anything and there is absolutely no benefit to me knowing or trying to find out a few days early - it won't change the outcome, and if it has happened, I will find out sooner or later!

DinoMania · 13/11/2017 13:03

🤞you are just too early!

nk1605 · 13/11/2017 13:04

Hi @hannknitted! It is so difficult to not think about it isn't it...I am 10 dpo now and trying to hold off until Thurs/Fri. I started testing last week and BFNs of course...knowing deep down I was never going to get a positive! They were ICs but still...it just put me on a downer! So I am trying so hard to wait these couple of extra days now until I can use my last FRER

Hello @nk1605 - yes, it's so hard not to think about it! I'd never have guessed that this is how it would feel, I guess you underestimate just how patient you've got to be and how slow the 2WW is when you start trying!

Good luck to you for Thurs / Fri - keep the will power going and hold off until then, if you've only got one FRER left you'll only have to go out and buy more if you test before then! Fingers crossed for a positive Smile

nk1605 · 13/11/2017 13:40

Thanks! I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a huge gooey mucous all over the paper with a pink tinge through it. I really really hope this is not my period, I will be truly gutted. What does an implantation bleed look like? I didn't have one with my first. And I am hoping and praying that's what this is and not AF

Picklesandpies · 13/11/2017 15:09

Nk1065 That could be implantation! When I had it with dd1 I thought I had just had a very light and short period and with dd2 it was just a light brown streak on my pantyliner, nothing more. I have just had some light brown discharge so wondering whether that’s it for me too - but maybe it’s just one of those things.

nk1605 · 13/11/2017 15:37

Picklesandpies I hope you are right! I'm having slight cramps too. Only time will tell... Hoping and praying!!

nk1605 · 13/11/2017 20:38

It has been very weird today. After having a lot of CM streaked with pink, it was followed a few hours later by a small bit of bright red blood. And now nothing. I've checked about 10 times since this afternoon and absolutely nothing. Just normal CM without any colour. And light cramping. If it's my period this would be unusual as I come on heavy quite quickly. But if it's implantation I don't know why I had a bit of bright red. So confused right now and pretty much convinced I'm out this month!

Picklesandpies · 13/11/2017 22:48

I had bright red blood with my dd so could be implantation despite this. I bleed regularly throughout pregnancy around the time I would have had af.

nk1605 · 14/11/2017 07:35

Sounds promising then! It's totally gone now, so fingers crossed
