Everyone is pregnant!

Everyone is pregnant. All my friends and family members (or that’s what it feels like). We are having issues conceiving #1 and it just feels BRUTAL and so unfair. I don’t know how I can bear it. I don’t want to be left out but I also can’t cope with all the baby shit in my life. I can’t bear it. How to cope?

Hello everyone! Happy new year! Is anyone pregnant yet ha ha (I’m not!)

physicskate · 03/01/2018 10:43

No. Clomid cycle 3 just started. Now entering 22 months ttc. Ivf mentioned at my last clinic appt.

Thinking of trying to reduce hours at work or find a new career/ field... I don't do well during stagnation (like waiting while ttc) I prefer flux.

I’m in cycle 24 (if I count my ectopic pregnancy cycle as a failed cycle). We’re not eligible for Clomid as I ovulate. We’re going on the IVF waiting list in Feb if I pass the necessary blood test! I too am beginning to wonder if I can carry on full-time work through all of this but in my field it’s hard to switch mid-year. Good luck physicskate!

I'm not... and another 3 close friends have announced pregnancies since I posted on this thread. So fed up with seeing everyone move on with their lives whilst we are stuck in this sad place. Christmas was hard!

We are on month 22 TTC, 4th cycle of clomid. The clomid seems to make me ovulate at the right time but I'm still not pregnant so not feeling optimistic. I think I have endo which is stopping it from happening but they haven't seemed interested in investigating it so far despite the symptoms being there. Our next appt is in Feb and I'm really hoping they say we should move on to IVF. If that's what we need to do then I just want to hurry up and do it, feels like we've wasted so much time already!

I know what you mean. I have two friends who were also experiencing issues, we used to chat about it together and support each other. Over Christmas they both told me they are now pregnant. I am so happy for them but now I have no one in RL who is in the same position, literally no one.

If you want to have IVF try and push for it ASAP as it seems to be being phased out on the NHS in some areas, so people may find they can’t have it before too long (disclaimer: I am very pro-NHS and think they do a brilliant job - it’s not their fault, they are cash-strapped).
