Positive pregnancy test

I am literally so excited I can barely contain myself...

I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came back positive (1-2 weeks) my period isn't due for 3 days-i took an early response test. How likely is it to be a false positive? I'm just worried about getting my hopes up

It won’t be a false positive. Unless you are on certain medication you can’t get a false positive. If the line or digital answer came up in the time then it’s a positive!
