Im just wandering does the cervix rise up again just before a period or could i be pregnant. Between 10-12 days ago i went through the signs of ovulation, increased clear stringy mucus, raised up open cervix. Im not having any of the usual pre period signs or none of the normal pregnancy signs. Is it possible i went through all the ovulation signs without ovulating. Any ideas would be gratefully appreiciated

the cervix is an unreliable indicator of early pregnancy, if you are 12dpo then a pg test may work.

Hi Tess, unfortunately yes it is possible to go thru all the signs of ovulating w/o actually ovulating. This seems to have happened to me this month, think I've had anovulatory cycle. I'm no expert but it could be that you may not have ovulated when you thought you did/when you expected to, that maybe it got delayed for some reason & now your body is gearing up to try again to ovulate now. If you do ovulate now your period may not arrive for another 10 - 14 days (sorry if I'm repeating what you already know). Not sure if this is a good or bad thought for you to hear but hope you get the outcome you want
