Someone please help a crazed woman!!!!!!!

Ok little history;

have been ttc forever (ok about 18 months) so i am not a stranger to every preg test there is

i am on cd 33 today of approx 35, and have been testing since cd 28 (i know, i know ) but today i had some midstream tests - you know the ones in a plastic case. But the sun kept bouncing off the plastic window on the test. So as soon as i dipped the test i pulled it out from the case. And within a minute or two BFP!!!!! Now i am not naive in any way and i know that a pg test reacts with HCG but couldn't believe it was true. So in true nutlike style.... about 2 hours later i done another test the same way and guess what???????? BFN!!!!!
Can someone please help me as i don't know what to believe.. The signs are there, first of all the week b4 af arrives usually cd29-31 my (.)(.)'s really hurt and the day they stop is the day i come on iyswim?? and i have had nothing at all. Been soooo tired and a little queasy every afternoon about three (unless i have some timed tummy bug )

The questions i need to know is do i believe the BFP or BFN because i don't see how i could get + and then 2 hours later a -ive???
any help would be great and if you managed to read to here well done!!!

you need to wait 4 hours between wees minimum .. that's why you generally test first wee of morning

I would say you can get false negatives but NOT false positives

CONGRATULATIONS .. looks like you're pregnant

its to do with the concentration of hormones in your urine if you're interested (the reason you wait longer)

So by pulling the test from its case would have had no effect at all?? i havent't marked it, and i matched it with the front of the case iyswim and the line was in the right place.

I'm sorry I don't know cos I've never known of anyone doing that before .. why did you not just take the test into a darker room once you'd peed on it? (yes I get the posting name )

I'd test again tomorrow to be sure

I was upstairs and every room is bright the line is still there. hasn't changed at all and it was done hours ago. I will test in the morning anyway to check again, my tummy is doing little flips all the time

I've still got my fifteen positive pregnancy tests (should throw them out actually, DD is six months old and it's a bit minging to have bits of plastic you've wee'd on, hanging around the house)

Hi - hope you have tested again this morn and have gotten an even fatter BFP I really empathise as I am a fellow 18monther!

Just in case you have more questions The peeonastick website is brilliant and answers all questions!She has a good comparison chart of pos tests and also info on the best ones to use.

Though hopefully you won't need it

sorry haven't been on earlier feel very and that have tested twice and bfn still no af and no signs so don't know whats going on. Am truly gutted though i don't know why i let myself get excited

Oh no, how awful. Sometimes what happens is the body conceives but the egg doesn't implant properly - it's sometimes called a chemical pregnancy. I'm so sorry!

On the positive side, your body is clearly geared up to make a baby so keep at it, if you have done it once you can do it again.

I had this happen to me once and I cried for weeks with rage because it was just so unfair. I then entirely gave up trying and got pregnant the next month.

My thoughts are with you!

Ok now i am truly crazy
still no sign of af so i have done a test from asda and even though it is still faint there is a def bfp

Has anyone any experience of asda preg tests and how reliable they are?.....Go on i can handle the truth

Okay so let's be clear on this - IF YOU HAVE HCG LEVELS TO GIVE YOU A POSITIVE PREGNANCY TEST YOU ARE PREGNANT.

Congratulations. Sounds like you have a very early result though - perhaps you should go see your GP for confirmation one way or another before you go mad?
