Why do I continue to hurt myself by buying preg tests??

Got a fertility problem and it took a while to conceive DD, trying for No. 2 with no luck yet I persist in buying lots of tests when i know I am not likely to be pregnant

It sucks, got drawn iinto buying some from Boots today as they were on offer..used two... bah...

get them cheap off ebay. i think i do the tests so i can have the fantasy of being pregnant ifyou know what i mean. take care.

Can sympathise.

It took us 7 years to conceive dd(7), and have been trying since then for number 2. (Had a m/c 2005)

I started off on here on the ttc threads (under a different name) and used to spend a fortune on tests.

I found it too upsetting, so have not been on those threads for over a year now.

Am still hoping, but not trying not to let it control my life.
