Ovulation confusion!

Hi I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this or experienced similar...

I had a positive OPK on Saturday that was CD17. However, I always get lots of EWCM around ovulation and didn't notice it this month. Anyway today I have loads and I have the increase in sex drive feeling I get too. Just don't an OPK and it's come back negative.

I don't track temperature so obviously can't be sure I ovulated on Saturday. But surely I should be getting a positive opk if I'm about to now. It's quite late in my cycle now as well at Day 21

Help!

Opks pick up on the LH surge, which is what triggers ovulation

Normally ovulation will occur within 12-24 hours of the surge, but yours might be longer.

If you get a positive opk - shag. If you have fertile cervical fluid - shag. If you feel like shagging - shag.
