Welcome all anti-fertile fuckers! This is our clique for those trying longer than 6 cycles and are pretty fed up.

Here are our Fucked Off TTC Commandments

  • Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
  • Thou shall not give advice to other when TTC for one month only
  • Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
  • Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
  • Thou shall not be offended by strong language
  • Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
  • Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

Our spreadsheet which includes what supplements (and potatoes) we are trying in our journey to motherhood.

@Unicornberry I'm sorry to hear that. I hope today isn't too awful for you. I hope you can do something nice for yourself or at least get very drunk.

@Micropig that extra bit of a kick in the teeth is always great isn't it?

I remember when I was starting out on TTC and I renovated the room I was planning to use as a nursery. I can't face going in there any more and just keep the door shut now. I suppose I should turn it into an office or something really.

Unicornberry · 31/10/2017 10:01

Okay sooo, we have started testing for more fertility treatment and I've just booked for treatment for my December cycle. Today I'm due AF but I thought I'd torture myself a bit by doing a test which would obviously be negative as I don't conceive naturally and I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself today due to the miscarriage. Anyway, I take the test and it's only a fucking BFP Shock I've never even got pregnant naturally and of the three times I've conceived, I've miscarried twice so now I'm too scared to move. What the fuck. I feel really bad for posting here that I've got a BFP as I only recently joined too.

Mrsjones17 · 31/10/2017 10:13

Wow congratulations @unicornberry

Si1ver · 31/10/2017 10:15

That's fab news! Fingers crossed that it's plain sailing from here for you

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 31/10/2017 10:59

Wahey!!! Congratulations this is wonderful news! Never feel bad for posting a bfp we all want everyone to get theirs as well as for ourselves too Star

I'm now 10dpo and feeling impatient 🙄

LovePinaColada · 31/10/2017 11:15

OMG @Unicornberry! SO pleased for you, congratulations. X

Steaksauce · 31/10/2017 11:44

Congratulations @Unicornberry !! Sounds like it was meant to be given the anniversary.

Apparently it’s national fertility awareness week this week as well.

justmeonly · 31/10/2017 12:34

Dear world,
Please do not say "it'll be you next". Ever.
Thanks

It's stressful enough.

justmeonly · 31/10/2017 12:48

Oh, and now I've read the thread, congratulations UnicornBerry!

micropig · 31/10/2017 13:12

@Unicornberry congratulations!

QuietTime · 31/10/2017 13:40

Congrats unicorn! Hope it all goes smoothly and you can enjoy the journey xx

just tell me a-fucking-bout it

CD1 for me - that was cycle 12. Which is great. At least I'm on holiday GinWine

Justwaitingforaline · 31/10/2017 14:12

Congrats Unicorn! Wishing you a trouble free pregnancy and in the nicest way, I hope you never appear on this board again!

micropig · 31/10/2017 14:15

@QuietTime enjoy your holiday!

@Si1ver I bet as soon as you convert the room to an office you'll get your BFP.

Bubblegum89 · 31/10/2017 14:35

Congrats unicornberry :) don’t feel bad, we’re all here hoping for the same thing!

Justwaitingforaline · 31/10/2017 14:47

I’ve finally had a definitely positive OPK today, which had been nice. Only problem is that DP is out of the house all day until 11pm bar a half hour gap... I may tell him he needs to be super efficient in that 30 mins Grin

How is everyone else feeling today? I hope those who have had AF arrive are looking after themselves and that everyone has suitably warm feet!

Anatidae · 31/10/2017 14:51

May I jump in?

Ttc second offspring and it’s been almost a year. Don’t want to be hanging out in infertility as we have a dc already so I’m sure it will work eventually and a year is peanuts compared to what some go through...

.... just getting a teeny bit concerned, which I know is illogical as we are both late thirties and we have one already so the system is tested so to speak.

Ho hum...

Bubblegum89 · 31/10/2017 16:32

anatidae welcome :) me and partner are ttc my second (I have one from a previous relationship) and we have been pregnant before together but I sadly had to have a termination due to personal reasons. That was a long time ago and we’ve been officially ttc for a year now too. I’ve been pregnant twice very easily (both times I was on birth control) and have had no luck now. I just assumed that if you had got pregnant fairly easily before then you always would but I’ve since realised that’s not true at all. Unfortunately already having a child isn’t a guarantee of anything. I wasn’t impressed when I found that out lol have you had fertility tests started yet? Hopefully it won’t take you too much longer. A year is totally normal (although doesn’t feel it!) so you never know

NimbleKnitter · 31/10/2017 16:36

Ah FFS! My first (ever?) egg white cervical fluid - but it’s on CD9.

9!

I despair

Justwaitingforaline · 31/10/2017 16:38

Nimble I usually get EWCM for 4-5 days! It doesn’t mean Ovulation is imminent Smile

LovePinaColada · 31/10/2017 16:44

Right guys, I want to feel like I am doing something extra this cycle - please could you list fertility boosting foods? Time to start planning!! December will be my BFP!

NimbleKnitter · 31/10/2017 16:44

Oh really?! You don’t know how happy you’ve made me.

I usually get watery, but I struggle to tell the difference between creamy and watery, so hard to know how long I get that for.

Think I know what I’m doing tonight!

Anatidae · 31/10/2017 16:54

No test yet. If it hits the one year mark (next cycle) we will go in and see what can be done. I think I actually have been concieveing each cycle but it’s not sticking (I get intense sickness and had hg last time.) I also had a miscarriage a couple of months back.

Conceiving #1 wasn’t so hard, but I know that may have been a fluke.

I get ewcm for about 5 days, don’t fret nimble

LimpLettice · 31/10/2017 16:58

Lovely, Unicorn!

Anatidae same here. DD almost 8, I think you are doing well not to be more than a teeny bit concerned - I feel like a mad woman at less than a year already. Really only a few months in here but having pregnancies in my face everywhere exacerbating the lunacy.

Feet nicely warm, ta. Sore chesticles at around 7 - 8dpo which was didn't happen last month. No more analysing!

Nimble are you doing opks? Maybe early ov this month? I usually get watery about 4 days before, and ewcm only a day or two but I am elderly (ish) at 40 and it has reduced in length with age. Creamy for me is almost powdery - not, but with more texture, then watery is slippery and very smooth. If it helps.

LovePinaColada · 31/10/2017 17:01

Welcome @Anatidae! X

LimpLettice · 31/10/2017 17:02

Pina I am RUBBISH with diet but from an anecdata perspective, the month I got my bfp I ate ten million raspberries as we had a total glut and I was eating them with virtually every meal. It ended at 5 weeks, but I have seen since they are supposed to be very fertility friendly :)
