I did an opk last Wednesday and it was positive.
Dtd on that day and also had a few days before too.

I'm now feeling the twinges of a period coming early. I don't understand how I can't be pregnant when I very clearly ovulated and timed the sex so well Sad
Fingers crossed it doesn't come.

I'm on month four of trying. November will be month five.

Let’s hope it’s implantation bleed. All the best to you. X

I thought my period was coming early, but I was pregnant. The symptoms can be pretty similar.

It can take a while though, try not to stress too much. I think anything up to a year is pretty normal.

@SpongeCake23 even if you time it well and manage to get the egg fertilised, there’s still only a small chance the blastocyst will implant.

The chances of getting pregnant each cycle are only 20% - and that’s with regular sex.

It is totally normal for it to take up to a year.

Deep breaths. Try again x

Also - opks are not foolproof.

A recent study suggested they were only 60% accurate. It’s why the NHS suggests sex every 2 to 3 days throughout the month

It is bloody frustrating. You can have sex at the exact same time, do everything right and still wind up with your period! I try to tell myself it's the way things are. It's normal for it to take up to a year. Good luck x
