Aspirin and TTC

Has anyone been taking Aspirin? I've read it increases blood flood to the Uterus area and so can help conception. Anyone any experience of this? Thinking about trying it this month but i've also read it can delay/stop ovulation so not sure Confused

Never heard of this as a TTC tactic. I took a baby aspirin (75mg) prior to TTC and throughout pregnancy because of previous obstetric complications but under the instruction of an obgyn consultant.

If you do decide to go down this route ensure it is baby aspirin (75mg) and not the full strength one. I was told baby aspirin does not cross the placental barrier and only works as a mild blood thinner but full strength aspirin behaves very differently.

The theory is that it thins the blood, so increases the blood flow to the uterus and therefore implantation rates. I took it through my first 2 IVF cycles but by the time I got to round 3 it wasn't part of the IVF protocol as some research had been done and concluded it didn't have an impact.

I took baby aspirin this cycle and so far it's helped my BFP stick. My other pregnancies have all failed. I think it's worth a go. I'm going to keep it up until 34 weeks
