Hi,

One of my friends recommended the Pregnacare tablets to me. She said they good for trying to conceive.

Was just wondering if anybody else has or is taking them and what you think?

I've been taking them almost a month now, they're alright - taste a bit funny and they're quite big but I figured there's no harm!

I feel like I should have started taking them before I did as I started around 2 weeks before TTC when it's recommended to start a lot before that.

I've also see a few people saying the Boots own ones are a lot cheaper so I'll be looking at those for next month!

I used to take boots own and then switched to a supermarket own brand folic acid.

What I would say is whatever brand you're taking be prepared that they make make you fart like a horse for a few weeks until you get used to them (they equally may not have that effect but best to be prepared with the knowledge that they might!) DH tried one as an experiment with much the same side effect. It's settled down now been taking them a few months.
