So this is our first cycle of trying to TTC. We decided quite late in this cycle to finally TTC. Our original plans were to wait until December to TTC. I've been off the pill just under a year. Cycles initially were a bit hectic at anything from 21 -38 days. But the last 3 months they have been on average the typical 28 days. We had sex on day 13, 15 and 17. My app said that I should have ovulated on day 15. 2 DPO I had lower backache. Days 3, 4 and 5 DPO I have had very weird stomach cramps. Almost as if someone has punched me in the stomach. Sometimes there is shooting pains but mostly cramping. I felt a little bit nauseous after eating an apple this morning but it only last 5 or ten minutes. Other than that I haven't noticed myself being anymore tired or any changes in CM but then I'm not really into tracking it. I took a test this morning which was negative but I'm guessing it's way too early anyway. What are your thoughts? I don't want to get my hopes up as I know it's unlikely I would have conceived on 1st cycle.

You could be. But you might not be.

No-one here can tell you that (sorry). ‘Fraid you have to wait out your two weeks with the rest of us!

Welcome. We feel your pain x

I know that no one can say for sure. I'm just wondering if these are possible symptoms as I not experienced TTC before Confused

In my experience I never got any symptoms until long after the missed period and positive pregnancy test so although I see people on here madly symptom spotting in the two week wait, in my opinion it's prob too early really!

I’m afraid there aren’t any fool proof symptoms of early pregnancy - most the things you are feeling are caused by high progesterone, which occurs in all ovulatory cycles, regardless of pregnancy.

That’s why there are so many people on these threads talking about their two week wait - you have just just wait.

You will either get a positive pregnancy test, or your period.

Nothing else means anything. It’s rough, but if there was a better way we’d all be doing it.
