48 day long cycle

Hi guys,

Iv been tracking my period for the last 3 months and this is what It said in the what is said in the notes" cycle lasted 48 days" what does cycle lasted 48 days mean?!

Will this make it hard for me to get pregnant?

It is on the longer side, with the "ideal" cycle being 28 days.

I have polycystic ovaries and my cycles were around that length so that maybe something to rule out with your GP.

I've had two DC with longer cycles though. I guess it can take longer just due to the fact you have less regular ovulation than someone with an average length cycle.

There are herbal remedies you can take to shorten your cycle but you're best to speak to a herbalist about it. I took agnus castus which worked for me but I think they can occasionally have side effects.

You count day one of your cycle as the day you start bleeding and the final day of your cycle is the day before your next bleed.

If it's really 48 days then that seems quite long. Maybe you missed a period or forgot to put it in the calendar.
