Brown discharge-implantation or smear test?

Hi all,

I had my smear test two days ago. I ovulated five days ago (confirmed by CBOPK). Today when i have been to the toilet and wiped theres been a weird brown discharge. Could this be implantation or side effect of a smear test? Iv not had a smear test before so wasnt sure! Also didnt want to get excited thinking it was implantation either :/

Possibly smear test. If your cervix is particularly vascular (got lots of veins on the surface) when they do the smear they can catch it a it bleeds a little. It's comes out as brown because it's old blood. I get brown discharge after every smear and I've had a few! Hope this helps x

Probably smear - it's a bit early for implantation anyway.
