conceiving after dh has had a vascectomy?????

i know this sounds ridiculous but both myself and dh are super fertile and i am convinced i am still going to get pregnant (by him!!!) despite the fact he had the snip 2 yrs ago after birth of 3rd child. a friend who is a nurse said its not common exactly but its not that rare for tubes to fuse back together.
only really paranoid now as had about a week of 'i'm pregnant' dreams,my tummy looks and feels massive (which happened with all my pgs). could be psychosymatic (sp?)

but wondered if anyone knows of anyone this has happened to or how likely it is?

It IS possible, though not common. I kept having these thoughts/dreams after I was sterilised, spent a fortune on pregnancy tests!
It's like your psyche will not accept there are going to be no more babies.

You should do a test if your period is more than a few days late just to put your mind at rest because it can consume you otherwise.

I think it can happen, but very unusual.

Did your Dh have sperm tests after his vasectomy to check his levels?

Also, after you have a vasectomy, your body starts to produce anti-sperm antibodies which build up over time and start to kill off the adult sperm which you still produce (except obviously it can;t escape ) - which is why vasectomy reversal often fails.

However i think this tends ot only happen afetr a few years.
