8dpo I got a BFN on a FR, 9dpo I didn't test, I'm 10dpo today and experiencing symptoms, AF due 26th, when should I test again? Is there still hope?

10dpo is probably still a bit early, not that I can talk. Your best bet is waiting until af is due, you aren't out til she arrives.

peachgreen · 20/09/2017 09:49

Test on the 26th - or even better, the 27th. Anything else is a waste of a test and setting yourself up for heartbreak if you experience a chemical. Believe me, I've been there!

ibentmywookie · 20/09/2017 10:04

There is absolutely no point testing early, it's just longer to worry about things going wrong in my experience. I found out at 9dpo last time and that extra week dragged like fuck.

SGDA · 20/09/2017 10:11

It's hard to wait and not test! I'll try and hold out until the 26thShock

Is so hard to wait @SGDA, what cycle are you on?

SGDA · 20/09/2017 10:24

@EsmeGNU Was actively trying last year then stopped for a while to make it a bit more relaxed started again earlier this year so this is cycle 4 of second time trying

I'm on cycle 5, trying for our first. I have zero patience I'm afraid. Currently dpo 4, the next 10dats is going to feel like an eternity. I feel your pain. FX for you, hope you get your bfp soon

TiramisuQueenoftheFaeries · 20/09/2017 10:34

Just distract yourself, keep busy and wait. There's no advantage to testing early, you'll literally piss on a whole lotta money and torture yourself both ways.

BertieBotts · 20/09/2017 10:35

8dpo is a bit early. 10dpo is okay as long as you're okay with it possibly still being too early. 48 hours between tests is my advice but waiting is always going to get you a clearer answer!

SGDA · 20/09/2017 10:43

@EsmeGNU my first too and i also have 0 patience, hopefully BFP will come for me and you both very soon

@TiramisuQueenoftheFaeries it's even harder to wait as DH goes away for 2 weeks on Saturday🙄
