I have been getting blood tests done for long irregular cycles /heavy periods and the GP said it is possible i am not ovulating, although i am not sure what tests suggested this as my hormone levels came back 'normal'. GP also sent referral to gynae for an internal scan for pcos but the waiting list is 18m-2yrs. My question is, what can been done about not ovulating and does treatment depend on a pcos diagnosis? Thinking about going for a private scan but i have no health insurance. DH awaiting test results too.. pretty sure its me tho. Ttc for about a year.. Really confused bout what to do next. Help! Xxx

That seems a really long time to wait I had my appointment for my scan within two months, I was found to have pcos and was sent to te fertility clinic (I was also not ovulating) they have started me on Clomid which stimulates your ovaries to make them ovulate x
