Here we are again! Some of us been here a while & finding it hard ttc our second, but we've been supporting each other and chatting since June, so let's carry on!

Can I make suggestion? To recap now, & to help us all keep up as thread gets long and new people join, how about we all put quick recap at end of each new message (or once a day if posting lots back and fwd as we do sometimes?!) (bit like email signature!) with the vital stats and anything else you want to add (like if IVF for example) so mine is:

36
DS age 3
Ttc#2 since Jan/Feb (early mc in Aug)
Af/bfp due Oct 12th

Might be a bit of a pain typing it each time but would help everyone know where we're coming from? Good luck all for another cycle, we can do it!

Enormous congratulations Curlie. Such fabulous news. Thank you for your kind message. 10dpo today and I’m feeling pretty blue still.

I shall be keeping everything crossed for you Mynameis - a lack of AF is always a positive sign.

MynameisJune · 03/10/2017 19:53

cariad I keep trying to tell myself that af will turn up tomorrow but I know I’m getting my hopes up as well. It’s going to hit me like a tonne of bricks tomorrow when it does turn up. Last two cycles have been 27 and 28 days so I’m expecting the same again.

MynameisJune · 03/10/2017 19:54

Sorry pressed enter rather than return. I’m sorry you’re still feeling blue. Keeping everything crossed for you this month.

KashyKash · 03/10/2017 20:45

Congratulations Curlie! That's great news.

Keeping everything crossed for you Mynameis, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping af stays away x x

bunnieboo91 · 03/10/2017 20:58

Thanks Rhibee29 this happened last time I took a six day early pt got a bfn and was pregnant with my DS a week later so keeping positive.

It’s this time of the cycle you drive yourself insane and read so closely to your CM and the cramps that could be implantation or AF. I’m not 11dpo and two days left till AF is meant to arrive!

Let’s get more baby dust please Halo

Gudgyx · 03/10/2017 21:06

Lexijadye - I was on depo before my first! Last injection was in the November, didn’t get another one. We weren’t actively trying, just seeing what happened. I didn’t even have a period before falling pregnant in the May! And because I didn’t get a period, I assumed all the symptoms I had were due to coming off depo, so didn’t find out I was pregnant until 13 weeks gone!

Anyway, my stats
Age: 30
Trying for #2, DD is 2.6
Cycle #2
AF due Sunday!

Don’t think I’m feeling any symptoms yet so not hopeful for this month but will see

Cariad2017 · 03/10/2017 21:11

I shall be keeping everything crossed that AF stays away Mynameis.

Not sure whether I'm feeling so rubbish because of the Agnus Castus, but whatever the reason I seem to be suffering from a mega dose of teary PMT. I think what's frustrating is that this cycle started off on such a hopeful note - we were on holiday and I felt incredibly rested, and I think I have in the back of my mind that if I can't conceive naturally when conditions are that optimal, I'm not sure I ever will.

I also had a really irritating encounter with a nurse at my GP practice yesterday whereby despite handing her a form from the fertility clinic requesting a re-run of the day 1-5 blood test, she somehow managed to order a HCG (pregnancy) test for me - oh the irony! So I now need to rebook an appointment in the next week to get her to request the correct tests, as otherwise it will be November before I can get that done. Angry

KashyKash · 03/10/2017 21:25

Sorry you're feeling rubbish @cariad2017. Sounds like a really annoying experience with the nurse too ☹️ I went for a day 21 blood test today, it was a real battle getting an appointment at the right time. Initially they could only offer me one next week which would've been a waste of time but I managed to get a cancellation today when I phoned up. Does anyone know the difference between day 1-5 and day 21 tests? I'm assuming they're looking at different hormones?? Just wonder how they decide what test to send us for.

Sodasoda · 03/10/2017 21:56

Congratulations curlie! Hoping some of your luck rubs off on the rest of us!

Kashy think it's testing for different hormones to check you're ovulating - so day 21 should be done a week after you ovulate to check progesterone levels.

I'm on cd11 here. Got lots of EWCM today and yesterday but completely negative OPKs. Ovulated on CD17 last month but think I might be earlier this month - things just getting back to normal after breastfeeding. Going to get on it tonight just in case Wink

MynameisJune · 03/10/2017 22:30

cariad I wonder if it is the AC although it’s supposed to help relive symptoms of PMT. if that’s the only thing you’ve done differently then it could be. I’m so sorry this cycle hasn’t worked out as you’d hoped but just remember people conceive in all different situations so you just never know. So annoying about the nurse messing up your re-tests, more frustrating when you know you have to wait another 28 days for them to be done. So hope you manage to get a new appointment at the right time.

Kashy sorry you’ve had an equally frustrating time with the GP. I hate the fact that care differs so greatly depending on where you live. The tests are basically for ovulation, egg reserve and progesterone. Possibly something else but I can’t remember.

lexijadye · 04/10/2017 09:41

Gudgyx- That sounds promising! It seems to be hit and miss as to how long it takes to conceive after coming off the injection. Did you go back on it after your first?
Did it completely stop af altogether for you?

Baby dust to everyone this month! 😘

RhiBee29 · 04/10/2017 11:10

Congratulations @curliegirlie

Good luck @MynameisJune

AF is finally over. Going to try SMEP this cycle as that method resulted in DS.

MynameisJune · 04/10/2017 11:55

Thanks rhibee af still not here so I’ve been an bought a test for tomorrow morning. Still expecting af or bfn though!

Elles85 · 04/10/2017 12:21

**Curliegirlie congratulations Flowers

**MynameisJune good luck and fingers crossed for you.

**KashyKash I'm currently going through the same blood tests so just waiting on results. So far all clear on my scans.

I'm 9dpo and so far been my normal average cycle so I'm expecting normal AF to show soon

Fillybee · 04/10/2017 13:35

Hi there, can I join your thread??

My stats are

Age:30
TTC #2 DS is 22 months
Cycle: We've been trying since I got my periods back in Dec 16 (year after DS was born). Have been pregnant 3 times, I've miscarried them all around 8 weeks.
AF: I think 16/10/17

Basically I appear to have ovulated just 2 weeks after my miscarriage and we decided to go for it straight away, eek, so I'm now back in the TWW, but it feels good to be cracking on again!

Gudgyx · 04/10/2017 13:46

Yeah stopped my periods completely lexi! I didn’t go back on it after my first, I fell badly ill when dd was 8 weeks old and almost died, so we didn’t dtd again for a long while! We’ve used condoms since.

Fillybee · 04/10/2017 15:06

What's this Angus Castus stuff? Just googled it and the Holland and Barrett website says not to use if trying to become pregnant, so I didn't get any info of how it might be helpful?

60sname · 04/10/2017 16:58

Congratulations to people with bfps, hope they come for the rest soon.

Age: 34
TTC #2; DS has just turned two
Cycle #1
AF due: 16th Oct

Only 2dpo and already imagining all sorts of symptoms, particularly an improved sense of smell as that was my first symptom last time.

Just DTD five days running, a record for us, and likely not a pace we'll be able to sustain!

Impatientmummy36 · 04/10/2017 17:32

Hello all, hello new people, I've not posted for a while, been too fed up of the whole process! Another exhausting FW went by where we really tried to dtd enough and on the right days but think we may have missed the most important day (the day before ov) due to burn out (Starting too early.)

Been having weekly Acupuncture so that's the only new thing this month. Hope it's worked some magic! She seems very confident anyway...

Af in 7 days on 12th oct. I would be amazed if I Im pregnant this month, and not symptom spotting after being so convinced last month! Good luck all...

36
Ds 3
Cycle 8
Af due 12 oct

Welcome new people!

impatient I’m sorry you’re feeling fed up, I really hope that this month is your month. It only takes one swimmer so you never know!

filly Agnus castus is used for regulating irregular cycles. It will say not recommended for pregnancy because like most things it won’t have been tested on pregnant women.

lexijadye · 04/10/2017 17:48

Glad it's not just me then @Gudgyx!
Got an appointment with the nurse tomorrow (supposed to be for the injection) but not having it now! Hopefully she can shed some more light on the absence of af and if/when she'll return. Although if anything like yours after you TTC she might not 😂

MynameisJune · 04/10/2017 18:03

Lexi I was on the depo for years before coming off all contraception in 2008. It took 3 months for my periods to return and nearly a year for my cycle to return to what it was before I started the depo.

bunnieboo91 · 04/10/2017 18:20

So who’s testing soon?

I’m testing in two days Confused

Elles85 · 04/10/2017 18:41

Me too **bunnieboo91

MynameisJune · 04/10/2017 18:46

I’m testing tomorrow. Af has so far stayed away today.
