Ttc #2? (October bfp)

Here we are again! Some of us been here a while & finding it hard ttc our second, but we've been supporting each other and chatting since June, so let's carry on!

Can I make suggestion? To recap now, & to help us all keep up as thread gets long and new people join, how about we all put quick recap at end of each new message (or once a day if posting lots back and fwd as we do sometimes?!) (bit like email signature!) with the vital stats and anything else you want to add (like if IVF for example) so mine is:

Got positive opk on Saturday and Sunday so DTD both days. In the past I tend to ov the day of my second peak opk so was expecting a temp rise this morning but temp still low! Opk still strong but not quite positive today. We DTD this morning but DH is away for a week now.

Does anyone have experience of this? How long does it take to ov after positive opk?

Really hope I get a temp rise tomorrow as we've given it a really good go this month.

Morning, well af has appeared this morning so I'm out for this month. Feeling surprisingly unaffected by it at the moment, despite being awake between 3am and 6am with really bad cramps. Was just thinking, in 15 months of ttc I haven't had to poas once as af always arrives on time. Not a whiff of a bfp :(

@sodasoda sometimes my temp can take a couple of days to start rising. I usually ovulate on the day of my peak opk but I suppose if you ovulate late in the day/overnight, your temp may not have responded by first thing in the morning. Hopefully it will go up tomorrow, good luck!

Hi everyone, sorry and hugs to those struggling right now...

A friend of a friend apparently had 3 or 4 mcs then went to a chiropractor and was told they had uneven or unaligned hips which can apparently effect fertility as it can interfere with the blood supply to the reproductive area?? Not sure if this is an absolute load of shit or possibly something in it?? Apparently it can cause so called 'secondary infertility' cos if you have a big first baby it can knock your pelvis/hips a bit. My DS was 9lb14oz so that part could fit?
Just wondering if any of you guys have heard of this/visits a chiropractor/is a chiropractor?! I googled it and there are a few mentions but not loads.

Sorry about af kashy that really sucks. Thanks re temp rise. My temp is up very slightly today but I wouldn't say it was a post ov temp. But my CM has dried up and my nipples are tender so I'm sure I have ov'd. Trying not to worry about it as nothing I can do about it - DH not around til Friday night now!

I haven't heard anything about chiropractor. I did acupuncture when TTC first. It was pretty expensive so ideally don't want to do it again. But of course I will if I have to!

Thanks everyone, was feeling really sorry for myself today. Luckily I had friends round for dinner tonight which has really helped boost my mood a bit. Onwards and upwards, I'm off to join the November bus x

Sorry Kashy. I'm going to alternate between here and the November bus as it definitely isn't happening this month, DH and I DTD but missed ovulation. I'm not that fussed this month, we've just had to move into a new house very quickly as we found out our neighbour was a paedo and was trying to groom Our DD so I've been terrified and stressed. Not ideal TTC environment.

Congrats to the bfps so far, good luck to anyone still to test this month. Hopefully I won't see any of you in the November thread but if you do, I'll be the one having a stiff

DD age 20 months
This is first month of ttc. Had copper coil out on day 5 of this cycle so hoping I should still be functioning normally. Tomorrow is day 14 for me and feeling a bit despondent by zero physical signs of any ovulation. Haven't started any of the technical bits yet of course! DD was basically 2nd cycle after coming off of pill (and we missed first as DH was abroad) but not feeling as lucky this time!

Is it alright if i hop on here ? Im 40, TTC second (first is 19 years old!) had a mmc in july so this is my first proper cycle trying. Hoping for a bfp which would be a miracle!! I'm 10 DPO and desperately trying not to symptom spot or test. Hopefully i can hold out until saturday! FX for everyone still waiting to test!! It is true hell this 2ww.

Any tips for getting rid of a cold? FW starts today and I’m a snotty mess with zero desire to dtd!

Definitely could be implantation dip dude. I'm going off temping a bit. Last month I was convinced I was pregnant - temp didn't go down until cd 5! It really got my hopes up.

I've got cross hairs on my chart today so am now 3dpo. We timed it really well this month so fingers crossed. Let the mad symptom spotting begin!

If I compare this month to last, I'm two days overdue but going to hold out as I've been taking vitamins and they've messed up my cycle in the past

I worked out my dates earlier and compared to last month I'm two days late so did a test and got this

Cycle 2, was expecting to be in for the long haul after first took 16 cycles. Didn't really do anything different, been taking multi vitamins but I don't think that would do anything.

Where are you in your cycle as we were almost in sync before?

@beansprout, yeah I know, I was thinking that....maybe you have shorter cycles...?

I am due af on Tuesday after a later ovulation this month (cd18, whereas it’s been day 14 or 15 for several months)....but not holding out much hope as we dtd too early due to the late ov, then I couldn’t get do to do it later at the right time!!

Also zero symptoms so far. Did you have any?

I have been taking my multivits and agnus castus and vit b6 (last two both for luteal phase) religiously this month so at least that is working out for me. Also just this last week sorted out my appalling diet and have kicked the sugar habit on the head...for now!

I've been feeling quite sick already and off coffee, did a digi test and it says 3+ so I must be further Thani thought

I think I'm going to be out this month. Normally have ewcm but nothing this month at all. I had period type pains yesterday which would have been day 16 for me. Usually get some twinges and nausea around ovulation but this months been totally different and far more period like. No idea what's going on, had my copper coil removed on day 6, but shouldn't have affected my cycle as no hornones.

Might have to give some of these ovulation test things a go! Can anyone recommend? I'm totally clueless about what to get and how they even work!!
