Do you think this is my period (1.5 weeks after medical termination)?

I had to have a termination 10 days ago and had some bleeding at first but haven't bled at all for about 7 days now. Just now Ive started bleeding and it's the colour I might expect at the beginning of my period. We want to TTC again so I'm contemplating getting some ovulation sticks and acting like this is CD1 but I guess it still might be bleeding from the termination 🤔

I can remember the midwife talking about 6 weeks but I can't remember what the 6 weeks was in reference to as the whole day was a blur.

I'm really sorry for what you're going through and hope you're taking care of yourself and being well taken care of.

I think this is probably part of the process for the termination rather than a new period. I had surgical rather than medical but my bleeding stopped and started for several weeks and it was 7 weeks before I got a true period afterwards (basically 4 weeks after my HCG level has hit 0 again).

Do you have a number you can ring to followup and check any concerns post procedure? Might be worth speaking to them.

Thank you Tiramisu. I've been here three times before but totally forgot about slowly decreasing HCG levels and as I was in the second tri I imagine they were pretty high. The bleed on sat ended up being just brown sludge then just now I had a fresh bleed of red blood. There's obviously all sorts of things going on and I shall just have to be patient and wait.
