First cycle off the pill :(

I stopped the pill on 8th August and had my withdrawal bleed on the 11th, so counting that as CD1. Now on CD37 and I've had so many PMS signs, but no AF yet :(
I know it's normal to have irregular cycles off the pill (although last time I didn't!) but I wondered if it's still possible that I will actually ovulate on a long cycle?!
I THOUGHT I had a load of EWCM on the 1st September, it shocked me how much there was. So I was fairly confident i had ovulated but with still no AF I'm now worrying I haven't.
I've taken 3 tests and all negative so I'm not pregnant (although would love to be).
I've had really sore boobs for this past week and I'm getting AF cramps on and off for the past fortnight!
When I came off the pill to ttc the first time I never had long cycles like this so I feel totally out of it, and hating not knowing what my body is or isn't doing! I'm just scared I'm not ovulating at all :(

I don't have any wisdom but it is totally normal to have to wait a while for cycles to normalise after hormonal contraception. I'm sure AF will show her face soon and your cycles will return to normal over the coming weeks.

I've come off in April and my first cycle was 35 days with ovulation, the second was 79 days with ovulation and the third will be 41 days. I've started temping straight away so I can confirm ovulation and know how if my luteal phase is a healthy length. I would recommend temping 100%. I use the app kindara and also bought their BBT thermometer called wink. You quickly get the hang of temping and it just teaches you so much about your body.

You might not have ovulated yet. But it's only been a month. In the gentlest possible way, give it time. If you had a normal cycle before the pill, it's likely to return. Just give it chance.
