Internet cheapy tests, how reliable?

I'm cd 29 (average cycle 28 days). No AF, feeling sick & ongoing CM, but no Pre menstrual symptoms at all.

Tested yesterday morning on an internet cheapy, and a very, very faint, blink and you'd miss it line. Tested this morning, and nothing.

Wondering (hoping madly) if it's the test and if it's worth waiting till Monday and if no AF, testing again?

When pg with DS I didn't get a positive until day something daft like CD34. Albeit on a Clearblue.

Should also add that this is cucle 16 so I'm a bit sad and hopeful all at one.

Hi.

If it's the One Step 10mIU/ml ones, it's the same tests the doctors use and they're pretty reliable. I used them when ttc dd2.

The thing with strip tests is you do need to wait a few minutes and let it settle. I know exactly what bit you mean, as urine travels up the strip it looks like a positive line before it gets to the control line? It's happened with all of mine so far and it just seems like the urine gathers there as it soaks up. I walk away for 4 minutes before I check it because I was getting my hopes up while sitting watching it and seeing that line.

Just test again in a few days if still no AF.

Fingers crossed you get your BFP soon.

I used internet cheapies before breaking out the big guns (first response!)
They dis give me a BFP at 10 dpo but it was so so so faint that you wouldn't see it on a pic! They don't get very dark until you're quite late ime
