Little bit of background.
TXT, random cycles, last one 72 days long. Started to use opk's to try and get an idea of what was happening and thought I would randomly keep using them everyday to build up a picture.
Friday the 1st I get a dark positive opk and it remains positive until the Monday, we dtd every second day.
The opk's went back to light lines and almost non existent.
Yesterday was light.
Today I get this (see pic)

What does it mean?! am I ovulating again? I haven't had a period I between and it's only been 12 days so 've the last dark one.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It means you still have the surge of hormones associated with ovulation. You can carry on testing positive right up to your AF sometimes. It's a bit early to mean anything else although sometimes opk's can pick up HGG before a pregnancy test will. Fingers crossed!

Wait Friday the 1st? Sorry thought you mean't you tested on the Friday just gone! It's possible it's picking up pregnancy HGG. When are you testing?

It's picking up a surge. You're around 2 weeks post ovulation if the reading on the 1st was due to that and a surge before your period is due is really common. Sometimes it's due to pregnancy, sometimes it's just that your period is due. Of course you may also be ovulating if it actually hasn't happened yet.

I'd do a pregnancy test first and then go from there.

I did a pregnancy test last Friday (7 days post ovulation and it was negative but I know it was really too soon to show anything). I don't feel any different though, I hear of all these new mums who have all these symptoms really early but I don't feel at all different.
It's too late in the day to do a test now isn't it? Maybe I should wait until the morning? X x

7dpo is way to early..i think you can get a positive anytime if day if you haven't drank gallons of water .. good luck xxx

Yes 7dpo wouldn't show up even if you were. Anything from 10dpo is possible but 12-14 dpo is best.
