Help!! Confused!

So I have the clear blue ovulation kit. I'm currently in my fertile window but have yet to have a smiley face! Are they reliable? Today I've had quite a bit of EWCM which I have always used as an indicator. This is the first time using the digital kit. I'm confused!

Was today the very first time you used the kit? If so it always seems to be negative to me as it's setting a baseline unless you are already at peak when it gives you your static face

It's a digital kit and I got 7 sticks with it. I don't live in the uk so perhaps it is slightly different. It is however a clear blue one. It said that on the day of ovulation, it should show a smiley face. Have tried now three days in a row, coinciding with my ovia app! There was a small amount of CM yesterday and a lot more today (sorry) so I would have assumed from that that I am ovulating? But the kit still gives a blank circle!

Did you do the test using FMU? I'm using the digital which gives a flashing then static smilie face and it seems yo be accurate so far. I had 2 days of negative then 3 days of high which coincides with my app. If tomorrow is peak it'll be static for me and very accurate. First cycle using them though so I don't have much more experience than that

I'm not using the FMU. It didn't say to use it so was just trying it at random times. Maybe that's what's wrong.

My pack said fmu and I test every morning. With it being digital it has a baseline from my first use so recognises an increase. It also said once I've got a high reading then I can start testing through the day

Mine says to use FMU had my first high smiley today so should have my peak in a few days, will test twice a day from now though x

I used it in the afternoon and I conceived after dtd after getting a smiley. I would say the ovulation kit is more reliable than an app and to go with that.
