Hi all. Small question. Been ttc for quite some time but nothing's happening so now tracking my period and trying to keep a note of everything. My question is what do you class as the first day of your period? Both last month and this month I've bled very lightly for 3 days (tmi but only blood when wiping) and then it's been heavy for 2-3 days. I'm confused as to what I class as day 1. Anybody help?

It is difficult to tell whether it's just pre-period spotting or the period itself at the start. Have you heard of the Clearblue ovulation predictor kits? Using those, you'll know when your ovulation is and that's when you can get pregnant so that's the most important thing. And then see how many days until your period after ovulation ( it could be problematic if it isn't very long).
