Have 2 boys aged 4 and 2. Is it harder or easier going from 2 kids to 3 kids compared to the change from 1 to 2?

Thanks, MIFfyEasterBunny.

Have found some of those threads. Seems that most people think it is easier from two to three, and that main reason for having third is because two is too 'easy'! Seems to be desire to have a more 'mad' household. As one of four this is what I want, but worry that I will be too stressed / knackered to enjoy.

I have a four year gap between my first two and a 2 year gap between DS2 and DD. I found the two year gap tough at first(potty training and breat-feeding at the same time -literally - but now having 3 is no more of a "problem" than having 2. I've noticed people who have a larger gap between 2 & 3 find it easier.

I found going from 0 to 1 the hardest actually!!
I have 3 now, 5, 2 and 7 months. It's fine. could do with more sleep.......but the baby has been such a chilled out little soul, I do forget about her sometimes! 2y old has just started at a playgroup 2 mornings a week to give me bit more time with just baby, which is nice. My gaps have worked out really well for us.

Oh yes, I have the 2 in nappies which is tough

Sounds good Hana. If we have another the gaps would be 21 months between the first two which was a bit mad, but great now that they are older and playing so well together (most of the time!) and then about 3.5 years until baby3. Who knows...
