Hi there,

I'm interested to hear about people's experience of using inofolic.

I have pcos although I don't think it's the worst/can't really believe I have it. A couple of years ago after coming off the pill/taking the morning after pill I had about 7 months without a period and then a 2 month long period. I lost weight with GP support and my periods came back although they are irregular but mostly within 27 - 35 days. I managed to reduce my glucose from 40 to 32 so not diabetic but my GP recommended one tablet of metformin a day in any case. She has now recommended inofolic apparently our commissioning group doesn't pay for it so have to buy it on the internet - eek!

Has anyone had a go/been successful?

Been trying to get pregnant with hubby since Jan but only focussed on ovulation during August when we bought a clear blue fertility monitor sadly no BFP!

Thanks for you time and replies!

I use it. It helps reduce my long cycles and I definitely crave sugar less when taking it. I get it from the website.

It can help during pregnancy also to prevent GD.

The more you buy the cheaper it is.

Cool! How long have you been taking it? Do you think it'll work? Sounds a bit too good to be true!

I've taken it on and off for the last few years. I'm taking it currently as I'm looking to loose weight and start trying to conceive. I had s very long cycle and it took 3 weeks of taking it before my period arrived.

I'm planning on taking it long term now as I have the spare cash to keep up with it.

The info states it can take 3 months before you see the benefits.

I do know some fertility clinics recommend it to couples.

I'm really glad it works for you and best of luck ttc. I will let you know how I get on with it.
