TTC whilst BF

Hi all

My DH and I have decided to try for no2. I have been on the progesterone only pill since DS was about 3-4 months old, he's now 10 months. I did have a couple of periods before starting it but have not had any since, I may have had a tiny withdrawal bleed at some point.

Does anyone have an experience of TTC whilst BF? I have only recently stopped the pill so hoping to see a period/withdrawal bleed soon. I know chances of ovulating are low whilst BF so am a bit worried.

We always wanted them close together so thought now would be a good time to try.

If you've had periods you're likely ovulating. We conceived on cycle one at 11 months pp. I think we caught the second egg.

I do believe you're more likely to conceive twins while bf so watch out!

Oh sweet Jesus! Why is that? I've always wanted three children, my DH however 😂

I'm not sure but I believe it's true! A bf councillor told me. She had 3 under 2.

Oh wow. Thanks for the heads up. Fingers crossed for falling quickly but not with twins!
