I am new here. A little background. Have 2 dc, both took some time to conceive because of my irregular periods. Trying for 3rd child. My general health is good, although periods have always been irregular (30-45 days) but still I would always have them. Now it seems like I stopped having them completely for no reason, haven't had one for 4 months, it has never happened before. Went to see my gp, they took some blood to test, got a voicemail about my test results saying everything is absolutely fine and we don't need to do anything about it. I am getting a little frustrated at this point, 4 months without periods is not absolutely fine! I am definitely not pregnant and no signs of period coming any time soon, what should I do? NHS won't take me seriously because I already have 2 kids. Anyone had similar experience? Any suggestions?

I haven't experienced this but I've heard of drs prescribing norethisterone to kick start af. When did you last see the dr? I think it's worth another visit, maybe see a different one? I don't think it would be fair for them to disregard it just because you already have children.
