Ex depo

Hi, I came of the depo 10 months ago, been ttc since then, had about 5 cycles ranging in 30-38 days, been doing opks everyday since January, 3 times a day, still not ovulating, last cycle I used clear blue advanced and got 10 days of flashy but no static! 😑 any advice, am due af now and have been to the gp who want me to do Day 2 and day 28 bloods! X

Had my last depo in Feb, not had a cycle since! Did a test on Monday, was positive did one today was negative, I know things can be pretty irregular after coming off it so hopefully dr can sort it for you x

I'll be watching this thread closely. Came off Depo December last year, TTC ever since. AF in February, then nothing until June. It was only after June I was getting a positive OPK, however, AF has been on & off every other month. So she's not even regular. I have been getting positive OPK's on the months I haven't had AF but all my pregnancy tests have been BFN's. Cycles have been very long too.

It's so frustrating Isn't it? I'm just waiting for af to arrive before hey can do the bloods, did a hot today and nothing, opk, nothing, had ALOT of ewcm today! And lots of pains which indicate ovulation but tests say otherwise! Wish I never had the depo! It's really effecting me mentally, I've never wanted something so bad! Good luck to you all

I have a lot of ewcm too. It's hard for me to predict when ovulation ends let alone starts. Not including any pregnancy symptoms.

I totally get that! I can't get my head around the whole thing tbh, and it's been 10 months!!! Google is not my friend! Every little thing I'm on there checking it out, I'm my own worst enemy sometimes!

Same here! It's been driving me potty. I feel like we've done all the right things but it's just not happening. I'm considering heading to the doctors for some advice. Although they told me it can take up to a year for my periods to return to normal.

How long have you been off the depo now? I'm 11 months nearly and I've just been to the doctors as they say a year, x

it can take up to a year to get regular cycles back. That's why Depo shouldn't be recommended to those who wish to TTC soon. It is a much longer acting contraceptive.
Hopefully it shouldn't be too much longer.

@scaredofthecity I don't have much option in terms of contraception because of other medication I take. It's either condoms, or depo for me sadly.
