Lube to use when trying to conceive

Hello! My partner and me are going to start trying for a baby soon. We often make use of lube as part of sex, normally a Tesco/Wilko own brand. We've read up that normal lube is a no-no as far as conception is concerned.

We've seen some conception lubes online that make claims about having chemicals to boost conception, but these are quite pricey and all we are really looking for is a lube to make sex easier and then let nature do the rest.

Any lube recommendations for when trying to conceive?

Many thanks,

smudge44

Preseed or concieve plus are both 'sperm friendly'

Hi smudge!

Normal lube can inhibit sperm getting to where it needs to be I think.
We use conceive plus. A little goes a long way & it's a really good lube.

Good luck!

Yes lubricants

The first month I used it I conceived...maybe just coincidence, but worth a try :-)

We use preseed sometimes. It is expensive but you only need a tiny bit - less than half of what they recommend.

Concieve plus worked well for us

We used Conceive Plus as well (ordered from Amazon) - it's pricey but we only used it around the fertile period and then normal stuff at other times.

Another vote for Conceive Plus here! We used that and the Clear Blue digital ovulation tests and got pregnant first time Smile

The gels are cheap on Amazon and easy to use, can't recommend them highly enough.

Thanks everyone - looks like Conceive Plus is the one to go for. :-)
