Have I been staring at this test for too long?!

Hi!
So I'm 2 days late for my period & no signs of it coming.
My last period was 4/8 so I should've O'd around the 18th I think.

I did a test last Wednesday which I thought was 12dpo & was negative.
Now I'm 2 days late & just done a clear blue positive/negative test and can't tell if I've just stared at it too long or if there actually is a very very faint blue vertical line.
I know everyone's probably sick of seeing tests but please lend me your eyes! Thank you ladies

I'm worried because if it's positive surely it should be darker than that if I Od when I thought I did.

Tests are so stressful!

There could be a very very faint line but only way to know is retest in a few days with first wee of the day. Good luck

Hold it up to the window... that's how I could see my last positive test - it was hardly visible to the naked eye. Get a digital one!

Thanks mrsD ! The first photo is taken in front of the window as our house has bad lighting anyway. Will keep testing through the week if period doesn't show up

Also meant to add in original post - this was done with a wee literally 30 mins after I last went for a wee. Not exactly held in 😂

I can't see anything. Try again with FMU. It's pretty pointless to use any other wee unless you're well past af date. Good luck!

I don't want to put a downer on it for you but I just had a test like this, same brand and a faint vertical line. Got my hopes right up and then AF arrived this morning. Devastated.

I can see a very faint line but it would normally be darker if you're late for period. Clearblue do have evap lines unfortunately. I'd retest on a frer in a couple of days.

Sorry to hear that Bambino they do look identical as well.

demi I had heard they're bad for Evaps so I aren't trusting these and will test again in a few days

3 days late now, done another clearblue with FMU & it's definitely negative.

How long are your cycles normally and when did you ovulate? It's probably a case of late ovulation or hopefully late implantation. X

mouse usually bang on 28 days. I think I ovulated around the 18th, I had some bleeding around the 22nd that literally lasted less than a day and was just brown blood (sorry!) which has puzzled me even more so!
