So I took a FRER test a few days ago and BFN. Then yesterday when I went to the loo, there was some redy/brownness on the tissue. So I assumed AF had come bang on time. So used a tampon and didn't think much more about it. Later when I went to change it there was only the tiniest amount on it and since then, no more AF. I took a test just now...okay middle of the day and didn't wait as long as I probably should but curiosity got the better of me.

I instantly thought I could see a VERY VERY faint line. It was a clear blue test. So my question is...do all clear blue tests show a faint line? Like an indent line that you can sometimes see on a FRER after inspecting it! I will post a picture.

I will retest if AF doesn't come back...but what are your thoughts?

Positive. I've never had a clear blue show a line unless I've been pregnant. I had faint lines with my last pregnancy.

Nice thread name btw! I love looking at tests for some reason

BabyKangaroo90 · 02/09/2017 14:55

Oh my goodness I REALLY hope so!!! But don't want to get my hopes up too much, the fall back down is horrid! Haha thanks! I thought I can't be the only one to pull it apart and inspect and inspect and inspect!

I understand. I recently had a "false" positive because it was picking up my recent miscarriage and it's very disappointing.

To me though that does look positive. Fingers crossed for you

DragonsandDungeons · 02/09/2017 14:57

That was a FRER though that's ridiculously sensitive.

BabyKangaroo90 · 02/09/2017 15:04

Ahhh sorry to hear that. In the back of my mind I'm thinking that surely a FRER would have picked it up yesterday so maybe I'm clutching at straws. Just can't stand the waiting game!

not necessarily, HCG isn't always secreted in urine evenly. I'd wait two days and test again. Well I say that, I'd be peeing on sticks pretty much constantly but you know Grin

BabyKangaroo90 · 02/09/2017 15:55

It's so hard not to isn't it! I only have 1 more test so I will use that in the morning if AF doesn't show! X

I can see the line lovely but don't trust hose blue dye tests very much fingers crossed for you that there is a big fat line tomorrow x

Waitingonasmile · 03/09/2017 09:39

I really hope this is your BFP and if you test today you should get a clearer result.

However, I have always found Clearblue show a faint line if you wait until after timeframe. I would say that's negative at the moment.

Good luck

BabyKangaroo90 · 03/09/2017 09:55

Negative unfortunately, AF arrived in full force about 4am this morning Sad it's just soul destroying isn't it! X
