Anyone else turn into a b*tch around ovulation?

Hmmm, having problems here. We're TTC No.2 with no success. My main problem is that when I'm ovulating I turn into a horrid cow and just hate my DH and everything he does or says. Then, once ovulation time is over, the cloud lifts and I love him again. It's causing a few problems in the intimacy, as I can't bear to be in the same room as him, let alone...you know!

I bet no-one else has this problem

i am a horrid person around ov for a day or two, and then again just before my period.

i think its normal? or maybe its just us,hee hee!

yep - me too! Dh can't do anything right around ov time and just before af. Not at all helpful when ttc!

Same here, and i'm like it for a week. I hate myself. I have found magnesium OK helps alot.

No I turn into a sex maniac and DH becomes nothing more than an insemination device. He doesn't mind though as we're not actually ttc and use condoms, he's quite happy to be treated that way!

Interesting thread... I often seem to blow our chances by being snappy and moody at the crucial time. Thought this was simply due to the pressure of ttc for so long..... but maybe there is more to it than that?

I turn into a miserable moaning ball of grumpiness a good week before AF is due. Not sure about ovulation...maybe I'm just as bad!! That means I'm horrible for about 10days of my cycle - thats scary.....or should I say I am scary!!!

I'm like Bucketsofdynamite. I treat DH like a piece of meat!! I also find myself on the tube eyeing up strange men. I get hormone goggles...

LOL Plibble, were you like that when pg too? I was a total nympho, I developed a very lecherous crush on this poor courier at the office! Luckily I was a SAHM by the time baby#2 came along, I no longer have so much contact with fit blokes!

I'm so glad to hear other people say this. I never used to understand what was going on and it seemed like I was getting dreadful PMT over two weeks before my period. When I finally realised it was ovulation it made so much sense, but I totally agree about the problems it causes with ttc.

Dear God no, buckets. When I was pg I could not be parted from my pjs for love nor money.
And the men I eye up when ovulating are not fit. Seriously, my standards go through the floor...
