Day 21

Hello, my Day 21 test occurred on the 18th due to weekends and BH's. It was 28.2 which my doctor said was borderline. People with more experience than me do you think this means that if I had managed to get it done on the right day then it would over 30?

Do you know what day past ovulation the test was taken?

It was day 18 but not sure when I ovulated. Cycles are normally 27-31 long

Would definitely be over 30 by day 21 I reckon.

Given the timing of the test, it does sound as though it was only borderline as it was done earlier in your cycle than recommended. Day 18 for me would only be a couple of days post ovulation and I have similar length cycles.

I've had mine done twice - both times on CD23 as like you CD21 was a weekend. I had a result of 29 the first time and 25 the second time. At a different appointment also involving more vampire nurses it was explained to me that it is critical that the test is done on the right day and that I never should have been fobbed off because the FC will insist on repeating the test on the right day. Know you've said that you are going to get it repeated (and all sounds totally OK with the level you had) but just wanted to share my experience too!

Thanks Flora that's really helpful.

Although the doctor did also say if it was low they wouldn't be able to do anything as I already have one child and am nearly 40!
