Hi everyone,

So the situation is I've been ttc for 2 years now with pcos. Last year while waiting for fertility treatment I conceived naturally but it ended in miscarriage. Since then I have been through several rounds of Clomid unsuccessfully, didn't even mature any follicles and am currently on waiting list for fsh injections.

However, the past few days I have been feeling very pregnant. I'm paranoid of saying this since it's been such a long and hard journey so far and I don't even ovulate naturally. But yesterday afternoon I took a superdrug early results test and got the thinnest and faintest of lines. I took the test apart and showed my husband and he could see it too. So I went and bought first response 2 pack. Last night I did one of these and it was negative. I did another this morning and it looked negative at first but then I saw a hint of a line. Stupidly took test apart and it's definitely there but so light and faint I thought I was imagining it until I asked my husband and while he does think I'm going mad, he can see the faintest of tiny lines.

My question is, are these evap lines because I opened the test? And has this ever happened to anyone else and what happened?

If I did ovulate, it was 9 days yesterday since we would have conceived, 10 this morning when I took the second test. Is this too early?

I don't really know what I want here, just going a bit mad and would love some advice.

Thanks!

10 days is hit and miss. 12 days I think you'll get a much better result but it's looking promising! Good luck!

In this case I would give it until at least the weekend and then test again. I'm not sure that readings from a test that's been taken apart would be valid, and may just cause heartache. For example I know the digital tests when taken apart always have two lines on them even if it's negative. Give it until the weekend or your AF due date if you can wait that long. Good luck
