Periods coming off pill

I had a sickness bug mid pill packet last month and I thought it may have been down to hormones in my pill. I decided to stop taking it after this instance.
I had 1 day spotting and I have had no period since.

I think I'm due on at day.
We have been sort of sensible (ish) with our contraception since 🙈

Can any one help.

Could it take a while to resume cycle or could there be a chance I could be pregnant?

We already have a lg but wasn't planning another just yet🙈

Many thanks xxxx

I stopped my pop July 24th and haven't had any bleeding since. I didn't realise at the time but now I know it's very normal for cycles to take quite a long time to return to normal. I am ttc but my tests are neg so I'm
Impatiently waiting for my period to come lol. Your fertility could have returned immediately even if your period hasn't so yes it's possible you could be pregnant. Have you tested at all?

Hiya, thankyou for your reply!

It's just so strange on POP I was having bleeding every 2 weeks and now nothing. So strange!
Did you have regular periods/bleeding on your pill?

I haven't tested 🙈 I think my partner may have a heart attack if I tell him I'm slightly worried 🤣

I think I will give it a few more days and I'll test!

Xxx

No I never had any bleeding whilst on the pill at all. I'm beginning to wish I'd never started taking it as I keep hearing how some women didn't get a period for months 🙁

lol bless him he'll be shocked then I take it lol

I know my friend was on the mini pill and it took them a fair few months to conceive and she had been told it could take a while to get her cycles back to normal.

It's awful isn't it, my entire time on the mini pill was spent not knowing what was going on with my body, and it continues once you've come off.

I hope you get back to normal soon and good luck, it will happen 💜 Xxxx

Our little one is 11 months old and we agreed next year we would start trying for another baby.

However we are incredibly lucky as our first wasn't planned and she was the best surprise in the world!!!

My oh is in the army (like yourself?) and is away quite abit.
So it's quite tiring sometimes with my lg by myself so I can't even imagine 2 right now 😂🙈 xxx

Phoebejade1991, it's my oh who's in the army not me 😊 And so I know what you mean, we don't see each other regularly enough so it's going to be quite difficult I think. He was only 2 hours away for the last two years and typically now he's moved 7 hours away we decide to ttc 🙄🙄 lol.
I've got 3 of my own already so this would be our first together x

Phoebejade1991 · 02/09/2017 20:20

It's a nightmare isn't it. 😩 We have been together 7 years and he has always been away, my little girl is at the into everything stage and is teething 😩 I spend my days chasing her round the house.

Woweeeee 3 and your partner is away! Your amazing!

I tested this morning and I am 2-3 weeks pregnant on a clear blue test! Partner in shock 😂🙈

So there's proof it can happen! Life after the pill! X

Oh massive congratulations to you, I'm really pleased for you 😊
I was a single parent when we met so I'm used to managing. He's brilliant when he's home though!
