Hi everyone just wanted to talk about this experience as it's hard to talk to friends in real life sometimes. I had a Hycosy test this afternoon. DH and I have not been trying to conceive that long (5 months) but I decided to book this test because ten years ago an ex cheated on me and I ended up with PID so have been terrified about the state of my fertility since then.

The good news is both of my tubes are patent and the doctor said there is no reason why I can't conceive naturally so I am so relieved about that. She did also tell me I have "PCO-like" ovaries so that may cause some issues. My follicle count was high (28) and she seemed very positive. Does anyone have any experience of "PCO-like" ovaries and what that means?

I was told this once. No polycystic ovarian syndrome symptoms, but when they counted my antral follicles when I was 39 I had 20+ on each ovary. This is quite a lot higher than average for my age.
As far as I can tell it means nothing at all.

I have that and might also have pcos... not sure what it means yet. I've been ttc about 18 months and had two chemicals...

No info, just place-marking if anyone else has any info!!
