Pregnancy symptoms?

I've been TTC for 2 months. AF was meant to arrive today but so far no sign.. although not getting excited just yet.
Been experiencing severe headaches for the past week and on and off nausea. Today my boobs feel a little heavier than usual and more sensitive.
Did anyone get symptoms this early on? Or do you think it's more psychological?
I must add as well, I know these symptoms can be signs AF is about to arrive - but apart from cramping I usually have no other symptoms AF is coming.

Have you taken a test? Easiest way to find out if they're pregnancy symptoms or not? If you due today you 'should' get an accurate result.

Symptoms can be blaringly obvious and sometimes not.

I have and it's still coming up negative 😩 Is it possible that if I am pregnant, it might not show up yet on a test?
I have a little boy already. But with him I didn't test until I was eight weeks, after becoming suspicious about a three week long "stomach bug" ! .. So don't know much about the really early stages.

If your symptoms are caused by pregnancy, you will get a positive test. That's not to say you aren't pregnant, but if you're still getting negatives, the symptoms are caused by other hormones (normally called pms).

physicskate that's not always true. With DD1 I had no symptoms until 16 weeks so was a bit of a sceptic about people experiencing early symptoms Blush but with this pregnancy I had symptoms for 2 weeks while at the same time getting bfns. Got my first bfp about a week after AF was due, so it can be that symptoms are noticeable before a test will register a bfp.

So OP, keep your fingers crossed that AF doesn't show and test again in a week. Good luck! Flowers

Early symptoms are caused by a rise in progesterone. Roses happen every luteal phase.

If we towed any other line this forum would be inundated with this question.

For my two chemicals I had sore boobs at 7 dpo but never tested before 12 dpo so not sure how early it woulda showed.... so I see what you mean, but those sore boobs WERE probably cause by progesterone not hcg... there is no easy way to test for pregnancy before hcg rises to a high enough level... so it's said it's rising progesterone which happens equally during pms.... so it's impossible to know if the rising progesterone is pms or pregnancy, and probably safer on the ole emotions to assume pms.

So short answer, bfn with 'symptoms' is pms...

I'm going to hold out before I do another test, wait and see if AF decides to show in the next few days (can't wait a week I'm too impatient 😂)
I am very regular usually so it is odd for it to be late.
I do know these symptoms can happen with PMS as well as pregnancy so not getting hopes up yet! Will update when I either get a BFP or AF shows up ☺️

Hope you dont mind me jumping on this...
I came off the contraception injection at the beginning of the year and my periods came back pretty much straight away (i had only had the one injection so put that down to that.) Me & my partner have been ttc since then. My periods came back on a 24 day cycle and i have been tracking my fertility/ovulation using various apps and also ovulation tests. At the beginning of August my period came but it was so much heavier than usual, the pain and the amount of blood i lost sent me to a&e where they had no explanation other than it being an abnormal period. My period is due today and i've been having all the cramps and other tell tale signs, however, i also have various pregnancy symptoms i experienced when i had conceived my daughter; nausea, dizziness, headache, swollen boobs, dry mouth, back ache, lower achey cramps, horrendous mood swings and peeing every hour on the hour! i did a pregnancy test this morning but it was a big fat negative. Could i still be pregnant? Sometimes when my partner and i have been a little rough in the bedroom it starts my bleed early.. we have been a little adventurous the last couple of nights and i had a tiny bit of pink in my underwear yesterday but nothing since which is very unusual. If i8 have my cycle dates wrong, i am covered because my partner and i do the deed at least once a day anyway.
Any advice be greatly appreciated, thank you smile

If you've had unprotected sex around the time of ovulation- yes you could be pregnant.

But it is impossible to tell from symptoms. The only reliable 'symptom' is no periods. The only reliable test is a pregnancy test.
