How do you all know how long your cycles are?

Is it just from them being regular? What about people with irregular cycles? How will I know when I'm ovulating with an irregular cycle?!

I used an app for a few months to track my cycle which showed it varying from 27-34 days, but there was bit of pattern that appeared. (Clue the all is called)
I got some of the cheap ovulation kits to help narrow it down though when TTC x
