Question, if I had my lh surge on Tuesday 22nd August, how many dpo am I?? 5, 6 or 7?

Hard to tell - an LH surge doesn't mean you ovulated, just that your body is preparing for ovulation.

An LH surge usually occurs 24-36 hours before ovulation, but your test might have been beginning, middle or end of your surge.

Have you tried temping? Temping will confirm (a) ovulation has happened and (b) a 24 hour window during which ovulation occurred.

So you could be as many at 6dpo, or as little as 3dpo. Or you may not have ovulated at all.

Afraid you'll just have to wait it out another week or so. Sorry

Although, saying that, temping is also not an exact science.

Best to just cross your fingers, wait, and keep trying!

Thanks @nimbleknitter. I had no idea it was so complicated lol Im not due af until 5th Sept so trying my best to wait until then to test.
