GP preg tests vs FRER

Hello! I took a GP test that I was given last time I saw the nurse (she was gonna test me as having a blood test, but I didn't need a wee so she gave me it to test at home but my AF came the day after so only just used it).
I think I can see the faintest of lines however DP thinks it's just a line to show a line is there (i tried to take a photo but I can't see it the same (attached just in case you might be able to?)
Are GP tests as sensitive as FRER tests? Should I POAS again or just accept a BFN?
AF due Monday so could wait until after then but want to know as going on holiday and wanna know if I can be merry at the pub or not 😂

I can't see anything at all.

If it settles your mind a bit, just do a FRER as I think they are one of the most sensitive.

I can only see the control line not a positive test one.... Maybe try another one? I would say frer, one step 10miu are more sensitive than gp ones.

Thanks! I know I think I'm going a bit crazy for seeing a line that isn't there 😂 never mind.
I'll try again tomorrow with a first response.

GP tests are no better than any others I'm afraid - so the FRER would be better!

Thanks! I've since poas again (not a FRER as none in Morrison. and same story. Need to put the tests away and wait a few days and try and forget haha. I got a little obsessed there for a couple of hours!

I promised myself I would poas his month but just did Hmmsurprise surprise - bfn!

boowaitingforbaby · 26/08/2017 21:14

@clairettc it's so addictive isn't it! I'm already thinking well the tests I bought today was two in a box so maybe I should in the morning? Ha
