Hey guys

So it's cycle 5 and I'm a day late, slight cramps and bloating but nothing much, I always get brown spotting a couple days before I'm due on which I haven't had this month. I have no tests left and don't want to buy one until after the weekend. Broke down and used an opk and now I'm kicking myself because I've got two lines. Does this mean it could be detecting pregnancy hormones?
Someone stop me from going insane.

Get a pregnancy test. Some people get positive opks when pregnant. Lots also get a positive just before af shows...

Remember that testing won't change the result! No harm in waiting til after the weekend if that's what you want to do. Just stop driving yourself nuts!

I've read that you get an LH surge just before AF shows up, so I would say this test being used for pregnancy is unreliable.

I know I'm an idiot :( it was more out of curiosity I heard they showed up and I don't get paid till Tuesday so no test for me! They're too damn expensive. It's probably just a lh surge and af will hit me this weekend.

It's tricky as you can get a positive opk test just before your period. Opks do show positive when pregnant but aren't more sensitive than a pregnancy test iykwim, so a positive line should show on a sensitive pregnancy test too.

With my both my pregnancies I used OPKs as I didn't have a pregnancy test. Both times I got very strong second lines and then positives on pregnancy test too.

This OPK is from my most recent pregnancy, the day my period was due.

Positive OPK for me too. Day late. Then HPT next day and positive! OPK went dark pretty quickly...

I've not tested yet, hubby is working and he wants to be there. I'm trying to leave it till Monday morning i don't want to do it in the evening and not have enough level to show a positive.

Nervous, this is the first month I've felt like it's happened keep getting this heavy full feeling low down like almost cramps but not painful.
