I haven't had a period in a long time and have no idea when I ovulate. Given this, am I best off just tracking every day from as soon as the IUD is removed?

I don't want to miss out on the first month trying!

Would you recommend Clear Blue or internet cheapies for this? Bearing in mind I'm a total novice...

Thanks

Hi i started using the internet cheapies but was struggling with weather it was positive or not now I used the clear blue digital one and use internet cheapies alongside the clear blue 😊

Thanks Holz! I was worried I'd find the cheap ones a bit tough to get my head round! How long have you been using them for?

If you have no idea when you'll ovulate I would use the Internet cheapies for a bit because otherwise it could get expensive! They're not too hard to get your head round after a while, just check the test line is as dark as the control. This is what I do, albeit I use the dual hormone clear blues which are slightly different.

What you could do is use the cheapies till it looks nearly positive then switch to a clear blue ones to check if you're not sure.

McT that makes sense. I think I'm worrying unnecessarily because I have seen images on here of people using multiple OPKs each day and timing them all..! I'll get a cheap pack online and see how we get on.

Honestly. If you're just coming off birth control give yourself a few months for your cycles to regulate and have a good period before you worry about tracking anything. Regular sex and lots of fun. If you're worried at this stage you might drive yourself mad. We've been TTC a year and I think I'd have been bonkers if I'd have worried about OPK before TTC. Dreaded r word. Relax and enjoy. 😊

Thanks Mouse! You're right, it's just been a long time coming and I'm super excited to get rid of this coil of 8 years and enjoy the fun stuff! I'll relax, I promise Wink
