2ww starts here! Any early September testers want to join me?

Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support? Smile

I hadn't thought about that, I make t-shirts. I can make all sorts of things for my boy when the time comes!
I was once asked to put a baby scan on a t shirt which was fun, I hadn't thought about a message regarding baby.

@Pablo I feel exactly the same as you. I am virtually holding your hand and hoping for the best.
I like this smaller group for early September testing. For those of use that don't get our BFP's, maybe we could start a new group. That will give me something nice to think about if we don't get what we want.

@Pablo it could be in our heads though, that's the sad problem. This is our first month 'trying' to conceive we've had a lot of um, not not trying (haha) in the 3 months prior and each month I've been fully convinced that I will get a BFP and I was wrong!
I've been pregnant before (DS is 7) so you would think I would have some idea of what I'm looking for but it seems I'm just insane...

I feel like symptoms are always in my head too.

So my bleeding is stopping! Still getting faint bfps although they don't seem significantly darker...

My EPU wants to see me next week but I'm on holiday so can't do 48 hour bloods. Shall I ring them and see if they can do it this week?

I rang them. They've insisted I go in, saying that I st least need my HCG levels checking. The person I spoke to thinks it's likely a new pregnancy but said without bloods I won't know if it's a chemical ectopic or fine.

Bugger. All my pregnancies I end up having scan after scan. They thought I miscarried twice with DC1, ended up with him in NICU, then my actual miscarriage with failed medical treatment and now this. I'm shit at this -.-

Trying desperately not to test as will be disappointed. Either 10 or 11dpo today. Had stitch like pain in my right side for 3/4 days but its stopped now. Had the tiniest amount of brown when i wiped this morning (sorry tmi!) But nothing else
Can't help thinking it's not my month. Whoever put up the stats month by month it's really interesting!

Ovia reckons to test tomorrow but that would be 5 days before AF. I think that's early does anyone else?!

I'm glad you're being looked after @dragons . youre definitely not shit at this, mostly unfortunately we end up not being cared for very well.
Please don't be hard on yourself, look after yourself and let them take care of you. Keep us updated!

MrsJones That sounds really early too. I only tested early due to the unusual bleeding I was having, I'd definitely try and wait a couple of days.

Thanks everyone. It's such a stressful time. I'm hoping for a miracle and that this pregnancy is somehow okay.

Tested yesterday. 11 dpo. Used the cheapie strips, but the 10mlU ones. BFN. Think that's pretty decisive. I'm actually totally gutted. All the previous months I felt were kind of understandable in some way - the miscarriage hadn't completely finished; my cycles weren't back to normal; we hadn't done BD enough/at the right time. This month...we had everything 'right', and it's still a BFN. 😢

Maybe I'll see a few of you next month...

@PabloEscobarlo I think I'm due on 4/9 as well. I've told myself no testing until the 4th...........fairly sure I'm kidding myself though

just catching up - a few bfps! congratulations to all who got a bfp. dragons im hoping everything will ok for you.

im cd 24, 10 dpo and dull achey cramping yesterday and today so im pretty sure af is around the corner. i ovulated 2 days earlier than last month so i reckon af due cd28 which is 2nd sept.

i do feel a bit odd but thats nothing new. i feel quite detached. i think im realising its such a long shot at 45 anymore not to get my hopes up.
trouble is hope is always last to die isnt it.

i have no symptoms. but at 10dpo im not sure i should? cramping. it is early for me to get cramping - normally dont get it until the day af appears but im trying not to read anything into that.

ovia says to test cd26 but im not doing that. ill see if af appears cd28. if not ill test then.

im sick of bracing myself for a bfn each month when realistically i know it will be.

@EsmeGNU I've bought loads of tests so dh has hidden them and will let me have one on Saturday and no more until the fourth. He says he can't stand seeing me upset

@Pablo I don't know if the hiding thing would work for me, its so easy to just go and buy another one!
The only thing that distracts me enough is a scenario like when we were in Disney world and we were all really busy as a group from the moment we got up until the moment we went to bed! Maybe I need a holiday each 2WW haha

@AlexsMum holiday every TWW sounds great... but I always find I'm much better when busy at work and struggle more when I'm off work! We're going away for a wedding this weekend and I think I'll still be too early to test potentially....not sure how to play it. I know I'll get comments for not drinking as we're in Portugal with no car...

I'm so glad I'm known as someone who doesn't drink, not sure I could handle being asked by all and sundry @felicityheather, I did read that since the embryo isn't connected to the placenta in the ttw that a drink shouldn't be the end of the world.

I'm telling my DH he needs to take me to Disneyland tonight @AlexsMum, brilliant distraction plan
